As a continuing-care retirement community, Carolina Meadows offers several levels of living arrangements based on individual needs. Residents come to Carolina Meadows through Independent Living with the understanding that other levels are available should they require additional assistance in the future. All our living options are designed to maximize your comfort, security, privacy and individuality within your level of independence.
Independent Living
We offer a variety of villas and apartments that can be customized to meet your needs and tastes. Our eight villa floor plans range from approximately 1200 to 1850 square feet and offer one or two bedrooms, a private garage and patio or deck area. Apartments range from approximately 700 to 1,600 square feet, with seven different floor plans and designs to choose from.
Assisted Living
The Fairways is a state-of-the art assisted living apartment building that offers all the comforts of home, along with an attentive staff to help residents stay as independent as possible.
The Fairways features 64 private apartments along with a dining room, library, exercise studio, lecture hall, hair salon and an expansive screened porch. The accommodations include 24-hour staff, all daily meals, snacks, housekeeping services and recreational activities. Within The Fairways is The Green, our memory care level of living. With 14 sunny rooms surrounding lovely community areas, this is a safe, vibrant home for those with memory impairment.
Skilled Nursing
Completing the continuum of care, Carolina Meadows offers an 86-bed skilled nursing facility called the Health Center. This is a state-licensed facility that provides nursing care, including temporary skilled services after a hospital stay. Our goal is to assist residents in maintaining the highest level of independence possible. The Health Center offers spacious rooms, pleasant vistas and a remarkable variety of activities and services, both therapeutic and recreational. It also includes a fully equipped physical and occupational therapy area. A full range of health professionals staff the Health Center.
