Tuesday, November 1st in the new atrium beside the indoor swimming pool, Kevin McLeod cut the large red ribbon, officially opening the new Carolina Meadows Activities Center. A bubbling fountain and a new atrium plantings added to the first viewing by the packed audience.

   The Activities Center, located adjacent to the Club Center provides a spacious and light and exercise room, offering Keiser weight machines. In the mood for yoga, jazzercise or tai chi? The private exercise studio is the place for you. After a hard workout you can walk over to the new Café. The sunny, high ceiling café is open from 8:00 to 4:30 and offers a wide selection of breakfast and lunch dishes, along with pastries, specialty coffees and delicious milkshakes.

   The second floor offers a game room, auditorium and an art room with lots of natural light. If you are looking for something to do, the Activities Center is the place to be.
