The 170-acre campus of Carolina Meadows will be especially busy the weeks of July 10th and July 17th, when Camp MeadowWood returns for its sixth consecutive year.

   The camp is available to special needs children ages 6 through 14, without a fee, under the auspices of the Chrysalis Foundation for Mental Health, serving Orange, Chatham and Person counties. The entire Carolina Meadows campus is open to the children, including the golf course, tennis courts and swimming pool. The numerous Carolina Meadows volunteers, which include residents and staff, make for a special intergenerational experience.
