Carolina Meadows provides school supplies for area youth!
Carolina Meadows, an exceptional continuing care retirement community in Chatham County is providing school supplies for needy children across the county. Both staff and residents of Carolina Meadows are committed to giving back to the community in which they live and work.
For the fourth year, Carolina Meadows residents and staff have held a drive to collect school supplies for clients of Chatham County Together!, the mentoring program that serves Chatham County youth through mentoring and support programs.
During this four year period Carolina Meadows has donated twenty cases of pens, pencils, paper, notebooks and personal hygiene items, and $5,500 in funds to purchase additional supplies and needed items for the agency's clients.
This year, the supplies will be delivered to the agency on Friday, December 8th.
