Our Residents

“It’s the people.” That’s what many resident say when asked what their favorite aspect of living at Carolina Meadows is. The residents are the heart, the soul, the reason Carolina Meadows exists. It’s a community full of active, vibrant, accomplished and just plain friendly people. You’ll find people from all walks of life: business, academia, public service—all of whom share in the many activities this community has to offer.

As one resident put it, “Carolina Meadows is very adept at arranging ways to meet people. It’s done very subtly, but there’s all kinds of things going on here.”

Unlike many retirement communities, our residents have an official ‘say’ in how things run around here because there are five seats on the board of directors designated for residents, one of whom is the president of the Residents Association; these members actively contribute ideas and opinions as to how Carolina Meadows is managed.

Get a glimpse of some of the people by watching the video or visiting the photo gallery. Or, you can schedule a visit to see for yourself what makes the people at Carolina Meadows so special.
